Set Sail

 In life many times it seems to difficult to let our faith “launch out” into places we’ve never been before.  Perhaps we become to content to leave the shore, we enjoy the beach life without out the cares and worries.  It might even be that idea of safety in the familiar that keeps our faith moored at the pier.

I must say dear friends that it is much too easy for Christians stand on the shores of familiarity and build our sandcastle dreams that will only be swept away by the tides of disappointment.  However, if you are going to escape your discontent, you must make a daring step of faith off of the dock of comfort and climb aboard the vessel of faith and then steer for the deep waters of the unknown.   Go beyond the shallows, and set sail for the dimensions where you will have to trust God.  Let your faith take you somewhere, you’ve never been before.  The miraculous awaits you.
